Hm. Woke up at 9AM today... Called the Espanola Animal Shelter, the vet was in, so I told Dad then hopped in the shower. When I got out, I called up that place for the job I'd like to have and talked to the manager of HR who transfered me to her assistant to see the status of my application... She remembered me so that's a good sign, the assistant couldn't find my application and asked me to call back at a later time. After that, we picked up Weina (my Grandma's Red Dauchand) to go to get her shots too. Weina was feeling under the weather, so she couldn't get her shots, but Trinket got hers. What were they again? I think it was Provo, Influenza, Distemper, Rabies and something else... She has to go back on December 11th to get the second vacceines. What else? Oh, the Vet semi-confirmed that Trinket has Dog Mange and recommended (more like commanded) that we get her seen as soon as possible before it spreads.. We called the closest vet clinic and learned that it will cost 68 dollars just to get an actual confirmation... Who knows what else for her medication.. So we have to wait. Dad and I were talking and we think she caught the Dog Mange from Copper when we last came to visit. Go fucking figure.
Weina threw up in my lap on the way home.
After we dropped Weina back off with Grandma and Angel we came back for Mackenzie. We had plans to viisit El Santuario in Chimayo. Well, she wasn't exactly ready when we got back so we had to rush her a little bit... Dad doesn't like to wait and it's making me feel a little antsy. I don't know... Most of the time I feel like this was the best decision I could have possibly made for myself, but sometimes...sometimes I just want to go back to Colorado. I can't really do that, though. I made a commitment. I have to stick to it. I'm not one that will back out of anything I've said I'll do unless I have a damn good reason. That's why I don't make promises lightly. I live in New M

exico now and there's nothing I can do to change it.
Anyway, we did go to Santuario, which is this beautiful church that dates back to the 15 or 16oo's.l It's where the Holy Dirt is, the never ending hole of sand. I didn't get any sand this trip, but I do plan on getting some and sending it to my Grandma back in Colorado... Once I have the funds to do things like that. I took a few pictures of Santuario..

When we were done with the church, we headed towards a new thrift store (boring, they had nothing worth buying, but I did find a free dress that I'm planning on fixing up), and a trading post. I bought a post card to send to my old co-worker. While at the trading post I called the job back and the guy said that the manager knew the status of my application and connected me to her, but she didnt answer... So I left a message and I guess if I don't hear from her by 3PM on Monday, I'll call her back on Tuesday. Um.. After that I convinced Dad and Mackenzie to go to the movie theater to see if we could buy some tickets for New Moon. Eeesh. We barely made it... All the shows were sold out except for one that only had 15 seats left. Talk about luck! That movie was pretty good, I wouldn't mind seeing it again sometime.
Came back home, ate some tamale's, and I have nothing else to write. Sorry. I'll write more tomorrow.
