Week 1 / Day 4

Sorry this update is so late, guys. I've been distracted since everyone I know uses AIM now. Haha! That doesnt mean I'm going to stop using this. Frankly, I've become a little addicted to blog spot. I like using this to update things really. I just save the extremely personal stuff to tell people on the phone or AIM. Fair is fair, right? Haha.

Well, today started rough. I woke up and went to the bathroom, Dad was cooking something on the stove I guess, so while I was doing my thing I could hear Dad in the kitchen going, "Oh, shit! It's burning! Why didn't you turn it off?!" Well, he was reffering to me, of course. I mean, who else would he be talking to.. When he got out of the bathroom he kind of gave me this semi-serious expression and asked the same question again... I simply told him that I just woke up and I didn't even know it was burning and he proceeded to question why I didn't smell the fact it was burning. The matter was dropped as soon as it appeared, honestly, and we went about our day.

At 10AM I fed Trinket and went inside to take a shower. I don't know what the hell happened, but the hot water wasnt working. Took a cold shower that sucked mucho hard core and I was freezing for a while afterward. Oh well, I think Dad fixed it, so I'll find out in the morning. After my shower, I called the animal shelter and Trinket will be getting her Rabie and Distemper shot on Friday. Only costing us 20 dollars. Pretty good deal, right? After that was done, Dad gave me this brown sweater to wear and he, Kenzie and I went to Walmart in Espanola to purchas some more things to eat this week. We bought some milk, french fries, chilie, hot pockets, syrup, creamer, a loaf of bread, french bread, 3lbs of hambergur meat and dad got some other things. I didn't may it much mind, really. LOL.

Dad took a backway back to the house, showing us the first settling place for Alcalde, there were a lot of very old adobe homes and he explained that the indians inhabited that place now. Told us this funny story about how when he was working on the ditch last year, they were getting some dirt from across the street and the indians made him put it back. They said the dirt was part of their land and it belonged to them. Haha! He also showed us the rehab place for troubled teens and their walls had trees growing out of them, it was awesome!

When we came back and put the groceries away, I finished loading the dishwasher, and we cooked out hotpockets. That was our lunch. After we were done eating, Kenzie and I talked for a little bit, then Kenzie disappeared into her room and I went to bug Dad. He was working on the router so the computers could share internet... It took him half the day, but he finally got it to work. So now the internet works on all computers, except for Kenzies, which dad is trying to figure out still. He doesn't really understand windows vista, and that's what she has.
Well, I got cold so I went to my room to curl under the comforter and play on my phone.,.. I dont know, I must have still been tired from last night so next thing I knew I was fast asleep. Trinket was with me, slept at the foot of the bed, kept my feeties warm. Haha. I fell asleep around 3PM and didn't wake up until 745PM. Shame on me. Well, I was supposed to make spagettie and I figured it was still early enough to do so, so I got up and proceeded towards the kitchen to discover that Dad already had a pot of homemade stew on the stove. Hell, we just ate that. LOL. Spagetti tomorrow, peeps.

Trinky is still losing fur, but at least she's starting to chew on things again. LOL. That makes me feel so much better, seeing her back to her old self again. I do have to keep pulling rocks from her mouth, she seems to think their edible for some reason.Silly dog. Haha.

Well, I talked to mom and Steve, still talking to Steve actually. He's telling me that we might buy a house next summer, somewhere near Santa Fe. That would be nice, but if we could just rent for now that would be so much better I think. I dont know, we'll see what the future holds. Haha.

There really isn't anything else to write, so I'll just leave things as they are for now. Tomorrow the three of us are heading for Santa Fe tomorrow...I forgot why though, outside of the fact that I have to do some job searching. Oh! I didn't call the lady for the job today, but I'll deffinately do that in the morning too. I'll let you know how it all went.
